The Ways & Means Committee met on Monday, May 8, 2018 and passed the FY2018 Budget.

Carolina Children’s Charity Gold Tournament Winners

Congratulations to the members of the James Island PSD Fire Department who participated in the Carolina Children’s Charity golf tournament hosted by the Old Fort Fire Department. Captain Wayne Doyle, Engineer Brandon Keener, and Firefighters Patrick McLoughlin and Matt Schroeder won the tournament! The money raised from the tournament is used to support the Carolina Children’s Charity.

The James Island Public Service District Fire Department will be collecting for the 30th Annual Carolina Children’s Charity through their annual boot drive starting March 17th, 2017, through March 26th, 2017. Units will be collecting money at the intersection of Camp and Folly Roads every day at various times throughout the day. Local television station News 2 will be interviewing the crews and motorists (if possible) on March 17th at 10AM at the intersection.
